The Bronx is the unhealthiest and most diverse county in the US. Montefiore / Einstein is its primary provider of healthcare services. Our team of geneticists, public health and community health specialists are working to understand its genetic ancestry, identify new genetic risks to disease in our unique populations, and work with the various Bronx communities to understand their health needs and how best to bring them the benefits of genomic information.
